Mr. Stokes’s work experience spans several areas, including industrial design and application, computer software, and of course, accident reconstruction and began even before his graduation from the University of Florida College of Engineering in 1993. He moved to full-time forensic consulting and accident reconstruction in 2000. He is qualified and experienced in the fields of forensic accident/incident investigation, analysis and reconstruction in a wide variety of cases including motor vehicle accidents involving automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, heavy trucks, tractor trailers, and trains, shootings (firearms and bullet trajectory), premises liability such as slip/trip/fall, industrial and railroad accidents, and computer technology including forensic computer investigation and analysis, and 3D animations. He works equally for plaintiff and defense in a range of cases from relatively small property damage insurance claims to multimillion dollar personal injury cases, criminal cases with and without fatalities, and more. Mr. Stokes was also fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstructionist (ACTAR) in 2006. There are approximately 1000 accredited reconstructionist worldwide and less than 70 in the state of Florida. Mr. Stokes is also a Certified Forensic Consultant(CFC), which is a certification earned from The American College of Forensic Examiners Institute(ACFEI).
Because of Mr. Stokes's expertise and abilities as an expert witness, he was invited to participate in the American Board of Trial Attorneys (ABOTA) Masters in Trial Conference as an Expert Witness during their mock trial presentation where he handled cross-examination by some of the best trial attorneys in the country. Mr. Stokes is a member of Accident Reconstruction Network (ARC).
